Ambassador İsmail Hakkı Musa assumed his duty on 1 April 2023 as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Beijing. Ambassador Musa was previously the Director General in charge of Turkish Citizens Abroad and Education at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye and also served as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims between July-December 2022. With almost three decades of diplomatic experience, he has covered a broad range of issues on contemporary international and global affairs. In addition to his duties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as Deputy Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry between 2012 and 2016.
