"On 21 July 2016, the Government of Turkey declared a "state of emergency" throughout the country, for three-months.

The state of emergency will not affect the daily lives of Turkish citizens or visitors travelling to Turkey and it does not include restrictions to fundamental rights and freedoms. The measures will not involve any limitations regarding international tourism and aviation traffic.
